Our Partnership This website brings together information for adults, children, young people and their families; the practitioners and volunteers who work with them; and the community of Manchester, including businesses, who want to help us achieve this aim. The Boards are made up of many of the same partners; are currently served by the same Independent Chair; and are supported by an integrated business unit. Communications and Engagement The importance of effective and meaningful communication and engagement is recognised by both boards as integral to keeping people safe in Manchester.
Learning and Development The Boards need to ensure that practitioners continue to learn and develop; and in particular learn from practice. Find out more in our Learning Hub. Our Learning and Development function provides practitioners and volunteers with the advice and information they need to obtain training and development.
Our Learning from Practice activities look at the outcomes from a range of reviews and audits, locally and nationally and how we can use these valuable lessons learnt to improve our practice. Quality assurance and performance improvement Multi-agency quality assurance and performance improvement activities are key functions of the Boards and allow us to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of what is done by our partners individually and collectively to safeguard and promote welfare; and for us to advise on ways to improve.
