Our Partnership This website brings together information for adults, children, young people and their families; the practitioners and volunteers who work with them; and the community of Manchester, including businesses, who want to help us achieve this aim. Both Boards have ambitious plans for continuous improvement and for supporting our Independent Chair and partners to challenge and scrutinise the effectiveness of safeguarding activity across Manchester.

The Boards are made up of many of the same partners; are currently served by the same Independent Chair; and are supported by an integrated business unit. Communications and Engagement The importance of effective and meaningful communication and engagement is recognised by both boards as integral to keeping people safe in Manchester.

Quality assurance and performance improvement Multi-agency quality assurance and performance improvement activities are key functions of the Boards and allow us to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of what is done by our partners individually and collectively to safeguard and promote welfare; and for us to advise on ways to improve.
